Marcellus Shale Reality Tour Part 3 EPA comes to Dimock

CNN iReport video -- ScottCannon shares with us this video from Dimock, Pennsylvania. He shot the video on January 31. The video includes an interview with Susan Roos, a resident of Dimock who claims her water supply has been contaminated by gas extraction practices. This video package also includes an interview with EPA spokesperson Trish Taylor, who is part of a team investigating claims in the area.

ScottCannon says: 'Call me crazy, but this information is needed to preserve our environment, clear water, and clean air for future generations, as promised in our state constitution. For me, it’s a moral obligation. Our mission is to educate the public on the negative effects of gas drilling.' He is on the executive board of the Gas Drilling Awareness Coalition, Inc. of Luzerne County, Pennsylvania.

Which is worse, the EPA, or oil companies, or is it a tie.

The goats where we used to buy our goat milk from were intelligent goats! They could both read labels and intuitively and instinctively know whether the water was pure enough to drink.

The goats that died according to the woman in the news video must have been a different genetic strain, that is line of species. Dumb goats that is. I was trained to believe that goats that were smart could eat tin cans and not die.

Too bad she didn't have the smart kind. Well, survival of the fittest, I suppose!

BIG OIL & GAS love us

James Calvin?
One very forceful advocate of pumping toxic fracking fluids (some of them "trade secrets") into the earth; keeps telling us that the labels on the containers is all that is necessary to protect everyone. ? And is quite insistent that all of the chemicals are always labelled .....

Do you suppose the goats had trouble reading the labels?

Or, were the oh so important "labels" and MSDS possibly no where to be found?

The home owner was believable! Watch the video!

Her goats died. After drinking from the stream! How were the goats to know that the proprietary chemicals might cause the billy goat gruff to give one last puff?
